Remedy For Common EyeBrow Problems

The shape of your eyebrows can enhance your appearance and it does so by flattering your facial shape, balancing your features, and framing your face. If you have thick, full eyebrows, you might need to tweeze them; if you have thin, small eyebrows, you may need to fill them in with a pencil. Either way, here is how to find a shape that’s flattering to any face.

Problem 1: Not-so full brows

Remedy:  Sparse brows can be easily patched-up with a precision pencil.

1. Fill your brows with the perfect eye-pencil colour that is the same colour as your hair. This will make them look fuller and also define your eye area.

2. To apply, use soft, sweeping movements.

3. The best look is always the natural one, so in the long term, aim to grow brows to achieve a fuller appearance.

Problem 2:  Invisible brows

Remedy:   If you’ve got fine, fair hairs consider getting them tinted.
  •  Tinting brows is a great way to gain effortless stand out and definition without makeup”.
  •  “A tint should be a couple of shades darker than your natural shade and the effects will last up to 2 weeks, so you don’t have to think about it between appointments.”

Problem 3: Non-identical brows

Eyebrow
Remedy: “brows are sisters not twins”
  • Get a reshape from a professional.
  • Once a trained brow specialist has worked their magic on them maintain symmetry with brow-defining products (pencils, powders or pens) that are matched to your hair colour.

Problem 4: Over-plucked brows

Remedy: Over-plucking and plucking above the brow should be avoided at all costs as hair doesn’t always grow back and you run the risk of permanently losing your most flattering shape.
  •  So only tweeze obvious stragglers in between professional appointments
  • If you’re waiting for sections of your eyebrows to grow back, leave 8-13 weeks before attempting to pluck them.
  • A trick to avoid over-plucking is to use a hand held mirror as well as having a large mirror placed further away so you can view both brows with perspective.
